- On 4 December 2019, the most courageous and creative democratic politicians will come together in Berlin to share success stories about their projects. They come from the entire democratic spectrum and have been selected by a jury of 1,067 European citizens.
In this interactive conference, all 80 finalists of the Innovation in Politics Awards 2019 share insights into their inspiring projects with peers, political scientists, entrepreneurs, young people, and journalists.
Guests will have the chance to meet the politicians who are currently shaping democracy in Europe and to learn about their success stories. The interactive conference format of round-table discussions is organised around the 8 awards categories: civilisation, community, democracy, ecology, human rights, jobs, prosperity, and quality of life. It invites direct dialoge, spirited exchange, and promises to be a highly inspirational and informative experience for all participants.
The Innovation in Politics Awards 2019 take place under the joint patronage of the Federal President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the Federal President of Austria, Alexander Van der Bellen.
