In spite of our conflicting personal political views, we need fundamental values that promote coexistence. We demand political leaders who take a stand for equality regardless of race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other orientation, nation or social origins, wealth, birth or othr factors.

As Europeans, we take certain freedoms for granted - freedom of expression, freedom of information and tolerance of opinions. We need political work which ensures that these freedoms endure and improve.

A sense of happiness in life depends significantly on the way we live together. We want to highlight local and regional political work that enhances mutual respect, cooperation and peaceful coexistence.

Our wellbeing depends on political work that takes a responsible approach to combining our need for energy, mobility, housing and food with the needs of our environment.

A functioning business environment in Europe is decisive for securing our prosperity, our independence and our self-determination. We want flourishing and competitive businesses, and a Europe open for new opportunities, which attracts the best minds in technology and management.

Equal job opportunities, coupled with the fair distribution of income, are essential for a balanced society. We need innovative political work that creates jobs and material security for all age groups.
