Project Manager and Communications

 

The Innovation in Politics Institute is a non-partisan, non-governmental organisation founded in 2016 in Vienna by a group of private entrepreneurs. The Institute currently has offices in 14 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Lithuania, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Our mission is to improve political work in Europe by supporting politicians on all levels with a proven record in striking new paths and implementing innovative projects.

 

We are growing and are about to launch exciting new projects. To help with this project, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager (m/f) to start asap. 

 

Your responsibilities include

·      Project management of a new Europe-wide project 

·      Planning and coordinating project events

·      Drafting project related documentation

·      Planning and implementing of on-going communication around the project

·      Drafting and producing of project related materials

·      Supporting the social media team

·      Planning and implementing community management

·      Liaising with staff, stakeholders and external contacts

 

What you offer

·      A minimum of 5 years of work experience in a comparable position

·      Strong communication skills online and in person

·      Building relationships based on trust and respect

·      Hands-on, solution-focused approach

·      Team player

·      English level C2

·      Strong references, background in communications preferred 

 

Ideally, you also offer

·      Work experience in a start-up

·       Work experience in a political organization

·      Second language (e. g. German)
